I have been a full time search engine optimisation specialist now for nearly a decade. In my time in the industry I’ve been lucky to witness first hand both the evolution of ranking signals away from easy to manipulate heavily link biased metrics, into the complex world of organic search engine optimisation that we find ourselves in today.
So far in my career I have been lucky enough to work in some of the most competitive verticals in existance, starting out in Poker and Gambling. From there I moved into the entertainment vertical where I helped in Seatwave’s success in developing from an early to mid stage startup into the dominant player in European ticketing.
Recently, I moved agency side as Head of SEO for OMD. This new challenge allows me to craft and direct execution of online marketing strategies for some of the worlds largest corporations. These days I deal exclusively with enterprise level clients from billion dollar retail giants, to national supermarket chains, airlines and many, many more verticals.
This all round expertese in organic search has given me a unique outlook on the marketplace, and having been focussed exclusively on delivering performance to companies, I understand the value that a well thought out natural search campaign can bring any company, regardless of their size.
